At Loudoun Spine & Sports Group, we know that you and your health concerns are unique. Dr. Thompson is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. He began his extensive education with one goal: to provide comprehensive care to relieve his patient’s from life-affecting pain. He does this through a wide range of chiropractic methods, combined with postural retraining, exercise rehabilitation and massage therapy. He also works closely with other medical specialists to offer his patients a well-rounded approach to care.

Dr. Thompson is a Virginia native, receiving his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in Health Education and another in Human Biology. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1992 from the National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. His postgraduate education includes advanced certification from the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians.

Combining Advanced Technology with a Human Touch

Pro-Adjuster
Our practice is equipped with the most advanced piece of chiropractic equipment in existence today. Through a specialized sensor developed by engineers at N.A.S.A., the Pro-Adjuster analyzes the mobility of the individual spinal joints. Based on its measurements, the computer determines and delivers the proper resonant frequency impulse that needs to normalize joint motion. It does this in a gentle and painless fashion.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
This new non-surgical medical breakthrough is a revolutionary new therapy that can actually take the pressure the injured disc and soft tissue, allowing them to heal and relieving the pain. Spinal Axial Decompression Therapy does what nothing in medicine has been able to accomplish. It creates a “vacuum” which literally pulls new fluid back into the disc and the disc back into position, giving the disc healing nutrition and removing pressure from the nerves and spinal cord. Patients describe the treatment as a gentle, intermittent pulling of your back.

Cold Laser Therapy
